Cheesy Ground Beef Pasta
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound pasta (we recommend rigatoni or penne)
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Begin by browning the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- While the beef is cooking, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Once the beef is cooked through, remove it from the skillet and set it aside.
- In the same skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
- Add the jar of marinara sauce to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
- Add the cooked pasta and ground beef back to the skillet with the sauce. Stir everything together until well combined.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the pasta.
- Place a lid on the skillet and cook for 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly. Serve hot and enjoy!
